Want a job? Become a lawyer...

Almost 90% of new law school graduates found employment, according to the National Association of Law Placement. Placement has hovered in the 83-92% range since at least 1985. Interestingly, small law firms and firms over 101 attorneys both shared roughly 37% of the grads each - with public service jobs at 21%.

I'm sending this one to my HS freshman daughter, Diana. She's always had an interest in da law.

Accounting is also hot due to a renewed focus on controls resulting from Sarbanes Oxley and SEC initiatives.

For the first time in the history of the industry, C+ students are getting public accounting jobs coming out of school.
